For the past thirty two years, Corey has counselled and supported a diverse range of individuals who are challenged with emotional and psychological issues.  He is a registered social worker in good standing with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Corey has an exceptionally strong commitment to helping individuals and their families optimize overall function and mental health through a collaborative therapeutic journey that focuses on the individual’s inter/intrapersonal strengths and develops new skills and strategies.

 

Corey earned a Bachelors of Social Work from Western University in 1991 and a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Western University in 2003.  Since 2011, he has been certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and in 2012 he completed his Level 1 training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
